Attempted Infiltration of Khawarij at Pak-Afghan Border Foiled, 30 Terrorists Killed

The security forces foiled an attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij to infiltrate Pakistan in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the infiltration attempt by Indian-supported foreign militants was thwarted, and 30 militants were killed by security forces’ firing.

The ISPR further stated that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants. Security forces demonstrated exceptional professional skill in preventing a potential disaster.

The ISPR added that the Afghan government should prevent foreign proxies from using its territory. The Pakistan Army remains determined to defend the country and eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorists.
