Actress Humaira Asghar’s Initial Post-Mortem Report Released

Karachi: The initial post-mortem report of the body of actress Humaira Asghar, found in a Defense flat, has been revealed.

According to Police Surgeon Dr. Samia, a preliminary examination of the body has been conducted and it is in the advanced stage of decomposition.

According to Dr. Samia, the body is not capable of determining the cause of death. DNA and chemical examination samples have been taken to determine the cause of death.

According to the police surgeon, the facts will come out after the examination of the sample, and it would be premature to say anything about the cause of death at this stage.

A month-old decomposed body was recovered from an apartment in the Ittehad Commercial area of DHA Phase 6, Karachi, rescue sources confirmed on Monday.

According to initial reports, the body was found on the fourth floor of a residential building. The deceased was identified as actress Humaira Asghar Ali.

Authorities transferred the body to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities and postmortem examination.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Further details will be shared once the autopsy report is released.
