Pakistan Is Responsible Nuclear Power, No One Can Dare Target Our Nuclear Program: DG ISPR

09 July, 2025 14:59

DG ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has declared that no one can dare target our nuclear program, as Pakistan is a responsible and declared nuclear power.

In a special interview with Al Jazeera TV, DG ISPR stated that Pakistan’s nuclear program is completely secure, adding, “Pakistan’s nuclear capability is invincible.” He further added that this reflects Pakistan’s confidence in its defense capabilities and the current regional balance.

Speaking about India’s state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, DG ISPR noted, “State-sponsored terrorism has been adopted by India as a policy against Pakistan. These malicious intentions of India are a systematic conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan’s security, especially in Balochistan.”

According to Al Jazeera TV, DG ISPR’s reaction came following last month’s bombing in Waziristan, for which the faction Fathan-ul-Khawarij (Taliban) claimed responsibility. The explosion killed 16 soldiers and injured over 20 others. Pakistan maintains a clear stance that India is directly involved in these attacks, with India supporting and financially assisting terrorist activities within Pakistan, Al Jazeera reported.

While giving the interview to Al Jazeera TV, DG ISPR said, “The term ‘Khawarij’ (extremists) has been widely used in recent days in the Pakistani military and media. The term ‘Khawarij’ is used for armed groups that attack the state and military. The current Fathan-ul-Khawarij is a continuation of a misguided ideology that has killed Muslims under its misguided beliefs.”

He emphasized that in Islam, the authority to wage jihad or fighting rests only with the state, no individual, organization, or group has that authority. He added that the Fitna-ul-Khawarij have no connection with Islam, humanity, Pakistan, or Pakistani traditions. The term ‘Fathan-ul-Hindustan’ is used in Pakistan for those terrorists who are supported by India, explained the DG ISPR. “Fathan-ul-Hindustan is particularly active in Balochistan, working to destabilize the country, said DG ISPR.

DG ISPR declared in his interview that Pakistan considers any aggression against the Islamic state a threat to regional stability. “India’s political leadership has admitted backing terrorism in Pakistan on multiple occasions,” DG ISPR revealed. “The mastermind behind the Indian state-sponsored terrorism network is Ajit Doval,” DG ISPR said. “Several countries, including the USA and Canada, have recognized Indian state terrorism, DG ISPR added.”

According to Al Jazeera TV, DG ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s political and diplomatic support for Iran, which is a target of Israeli aggression.
