ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Islamabad on an official visit to Pakistan.
According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, Additional Secretary Syed Ali Asad Gilani received the Turkish Foreign Minister upon his arrival.
During the visit, the Turkish delegation is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir. Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.
It is noteworthy that Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Güler also arrived in Islamabad last night on an official visit. This development highlights the close and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.
As per the Foreign Office, Additional Secretary Syed Ali Gilani received the Turkish Defense Minister as well. Güler, accompanied by his delegation, will hold meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and other senior civil and military officials.
