MQM Founder Altaf Hussain Multiple Tests
LONDON – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain has been hospitalized in London due to severe illness, party officials confirmed. Doctors have prescribed a series of medical tests to determine the cause of his health issues.
According to Mustafa Azizabadi, an MQM leader based in London, Altaf was examined on Friday and advised to undergo several diagnostic tests including blood tests, ECG, CT scan, X-ray, and ultrasound. Doctors have also recommended a blood transfusion, with some blood already administered.
Azizabadi shared on social media that Altaf has been suffering from severe emotional stress, linked to geopolitical tensions, legal battles, and financial difficulties. He requested prayers for Altaf’s recovery, saying, “We are passing through a difficult time with his health.”
Altaf was admitted to the hospital on a doctor’s advice after his condition worsened late last night. Further updates on his health are expected after test results are reviewed.
