KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan closed the week on a strong note, with a two-day gain of Rs3,400 per tola by July 12.
On Saturday, gold rose by Rs1,100 to reach Rs358,100 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs944, closing at Rs307,013. This follows a sharp rise of Rs2,300 per tola on Friday.

The global gold market also saw gains, with prices rising by $11 to $3,356 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
The increase comes amid growing demand for safe-haven assets as global economic concerns persist.
Silver maintained the upward trend as well, closing the week at Rs4,022, up Rs85 per tola.
