12 July, 2025 17:55

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja says that it is the fundamental right of Imran Khan’s sons to return, and they will come.

A luncheon was held in Islamabad in honor of PTI members of the provincial and national assemblies, during which Opposition Leader Omar Ayub and Ali Amin Gandapur also met with members of the provincial and national assemblies.

Talking to the media outside KP House, Salman Akram Raja said that he is going to Lahore, where he will discuss the economic and political situation of the country with party leaders. Article 19 is our fundamental right; this right has been taken away from us.

He said that we want to sit with the people and listen to their problems; our convoy is leaving for Lahore just to talk; there will be a meeting today and tomorrow, after which we will return.

On the other hand, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said that arrests are not possible; that is not going to happen; only parliamentarians are going to Lahore; we are in contact with the people of Punjab; they are also parliamentarians.

He further said that Senate elections are being held, we have to hold a meeting regarding this, and everyone has to come together to strengthen democracy.
