Gallup Survey: Nearly Half in KP Demand Removal of CM Gandapur

In a Gallup Pakistan survey, 47 percent of citizens from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to remove Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Gallup Pakistan has released a new survey based on the opinions of 3,000 citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the survey, 47 percent of citizens from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa advised PTI founder Imran Khan to remove Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and expressed dissatisfaction with his performance, however, 40 percent opposed the removal of the Chief Minister.
In the survey, 50 percent of citizens described the performance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as better than that of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and 37 percent of PTI voters were also among those who described the performance as better, while 39 percent said Ali Amin’s performance was better than Maryam Nawaz’s.
The survey also compared Ali Amin Gandapur’s performance with that of former chief ministers. 52 percent said his performance was worse or similar to that of former Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, while 37 percent said it was better.
In the survey, 36 percent of PTI supporters also came out in support of removing the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, 53 percent of PTI voters supported the Chief Minister and openly opposed his removal.
In the survey, 53% of the respondents blamed the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for his failure to stop corruption in the province, while 49% blamed him for the lack of employment. On the contrary, 64% praised his performance in providing health and clean water, while 62% praised his performance in providing educational facilities.
