Gallup Survey Shocks PTI: KP Voters Turn Against Ruling Party

14 July, 2025 00:51

A recent public opinion survey by Gallup Pakistan has revealed strong frustration among people living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). What’s surprising is that even voters of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are not happy anymore.

This report shows that many citizens are losing trust in the KP government’s ability to deliver on its promises. Once known as a PTI stronghold, the province is now full of complaints about poor governance, bad infrastructure, lack of jobs, and no accountability.

The survey says this anger is not just from the opposition. A large number of PTI supporters are also unhappy. Many feel they were promised change but got nothing in return.

“Even PTI loyalists are joining the chorus of discontent,” the Gallup report mentioned.

The top concerns include:

  • Broken roads

  • Unemployment

  • Electricity problems

  • Corruption and poor planning

This growing disappointment is seen as a warning sign ahead of the next elections. Political experts believe the PTI government must act quickly. They need to fix issues, speed up development, and increase transparency. Otherwise, they risk losing the support of the people who once stood firmly with them.

In short, this survey is a wake-up call—not just for PTI, but for all political parties. People want results, not just promises.
