A notable rise in petrol price is expected starting July 16 in Pakistan.
According to the reports, petrol prices could go up by Rs. 6.60 per liter, while high-speed diesel may see an increase of Rs. 5.27 per liter.
Sources indicate that OGRA has received the initial pricing calculations and will finalize the proposal before sending it to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.
The potential price changes are based on fluctuations in international market rates and import costs. Final approval will be given by the Ministry of Finance after consultation with the Prime Minister.
