Government to Fix Retail Sugar Price After Cabinet Approval

The government also decided to fix the retail price of sugar after the ex-mill.

According to the Federal Minister for Food Security, the notification for the approval of the retail price will be issued after approval from the cabinet.

However, the promise of an ex-mill price of sugar at Rs 165 per kilogram was not fulfilled, and two days later, the supply of sugar in Karachi was restored at Rs 178.50 per kilogram.
