Pakistan Urges Global Community to Designate BLA’s Majeed Brigade as Terrorist Group
BLA Majeed Brigade as Terrorist Group
Islamabad: Pakistan has called on the international community to designate the Majeed Brigade, a militant wing of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), as a terrorist organization.
During a press briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson hailed the recent arrest of Sharifullah, the mastermind behind the Abbey Gate bombing, as a significant success for Pakistan in the fight against terrorism. The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan remains a frontline state in the global war on terror and has made notable contributions to international peace and security.
Commenting on the recent Pahalgam incident in Indian-administered Kashmir, the spokesperson said the investigation is still incomplete. The incident occurred in a globally recognized disputed territory. He strongly rejected India’s attempt to link the attack with banned groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, calling it contrary to facts and part of a larger anti-Pakistan propaganda campaign.
The spokesperson further stated that Pakistan has effectively dismantled terrorist networks, arrested their leadership, and brought them to justice. He urged the international community to adopt a neutral and collective approach against terrorism and officially recognize the Majeed Brigade of the BLA as a terrorist entity.
