KARACHI โ Authorities have declared 43 residential buildings in Karachiโs Gulistan-e-Jauhar area as dangerous, raising serious concerns for the safety of hundreds of families living there.
These buildings are located across various blocks of Gulistan-e-Jauhar and house hundreds of flats with thousands of residents, including women and children.
Chairman of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD), Hassan Bakhshi, has responded to the situation by demanding that the technical survey reports of these buildings be shared with ABAD for review.
He emphasized that declaring buildings unsafe should be based on scientific inspection using proper tools, not just visual assessment. He urged authorities to ensure accurate technical evaluation before any final decisions are made.
