Karachi Couple Welcomes Quintuplets, Seeks Urgent Medical Support

A young couple from Karachi’s Baldia Town has been blessed with quintuplets — three girls and two boys — born through an emergency C-section at a private hospital.

The babies were delivered prematurely, several weeks before their due date. According to doctors, all five newborns are underweight and are experiencing breathing difficulties. They have been placed in intensive care and require constant medical supervision.

This marks the first childbirth for the couple, who got married just a year ago. The father, Adnan Sheikh, shared his mixed emotions of joy and concern. “We are grateful for this blessing, but the hospital bills are too high for us to afford,” he said, appealing for public and government support.

Hospital officials say the babies’ condition is slightly improving but caution that they remain in a critical stage where specialized care is essential for survival.

The family is urging kind-hearted individuals, welfare organizations, and authorities to come forward with help as they navigate this emotional and financial challenge.
