PLRA Announces New Service Charges for 2025-26: Check Latest Fard & Mutation Fees

The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has officially updated its service charges for the fiscal year 2025–26. These changes are aimed at enhancing transparency, improving service delivery, and maintaining financial stability in land-related services throughout Punjab.

Charges Implemented Under PLRA Act 2017

According to Notification No. PLRA/BM/2569 issued on July 14, 2025, the revised fees have been enforced immediately under the provisions of the Punjab Land Records Authority Act 2017.

Key Services Covered

The revised charges apply to several services including issuance of land record copies, mutation processing, and transactions conducted through the E-Registration portal.

PLRA Updated Service Charges

  • Rs. 3,500 for express issuance of land records (e.g., Fard, Mutation, Girdawri)
  • Rs. 800 for regular issuance via HSMS
  • Rs. 1,300 for a registered deed copy
  • Rs. 900 (successful) and Rs. 600 (unsuccessful) for verification by banks/agencies
  • Rs. 9,700 for express mutation service
  • Rs. 1,900 for bank-processed mutations
  • Rs. 1,100 for other mutation services
  • Rs. 6,100 for appointment of commission via E-Registration
  • Rs. 2,500 for property transfers in cooperative/development authorities
  • Rs. 5,000 as onboarding fee for housing societies (first 10 properties exempt)
  • Rs. 3,000 per transaction via HSMS
  • 0.1% of land value (min Rs. 3,300) for sale/purchase through E-Registration
  • Rs. 3,300 for all other E-Registration services excluding sale/purchase

These rates have been approved by the Board of Revenue, Punjab, and are applicable at all PLRA service centers across the province.
