Founder PTI Out of Jail
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that there is no prospect of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan coming out of prison, and his sons will not come to Pakistan either.
During a meeting with senior journalists in Peshawar, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that a jirga consisting of tribal elders should be formed to resolve the issues of FATA. The tribal jirga should include former FATA members of parliament, political representatives, and others.
He said that the merger of FATA is not possible without a constitutional amendment. The allocated funds should be released as promised at the time of the FATA merger.
He said that the law and order situation in KP is extremely precarious, extortion is being collected from the general public, including traders and local leaders, in broad daylight, and citizens in DI Khan cannot leave their homes after Asr.
Faisal Karim Kundi said that all the federal government’s projects are focused on Punjab, and the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been neglected in the federal laptop scheme, youth scheme, and Danish schools.
He said that the renovation of the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is substandard. Due to the lack of standard sports grounds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) could not be held there.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi further said that the PTI is suffering from factionalism in the province; these people cannot even bring 20 vehicles for the August 5 protest.
