Sindh announces new school and college timings from August 1, 2025

The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has issued new school and college timings across the province. These new timings will apply to both public and private institutions, from primary to higher secondary level, including government and private colleges.

The updated schedule will be in effect from August 1, 2025, as all schools and colleges reopen after the summer break, which ends on July 31.

New Timings for Schools and Colleges in Sindh

Single-Shift Primary Schools:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Double-Shift Primary Schools:

First Shift:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

• Friday: 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Second Shift:

• Daily: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Single-Shift Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Double-Shift Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools:

First Shift:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

• Friday: 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Second Shift:

• Daily: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

New College Timings in Sindh

Morning Shift:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM

• Friday: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Evening Shift:

• Mon–Thu & Sat: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Friday: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

The education department has instructed all schools and colleges to strictly follow the new schedule starting August 1, 2025.
