Pakistan Committed to Regional Peace But Ready to Respond to Any Threat: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), stated that Pakistan remains committed to regional peace but is fully prepared to respond to any threat.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with participants of the National Workshop Balochistan, where he emphasized the importance of national unity and the development of Balochistan.

He reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s determination to completely eliminate terrorism and condemned India’s support for terrorist organizations.

He referred to extremist elements, labeling them as failed Indian proxy projects, and noted that after being defeated in the struggle of truth, India had intensified its proxy warfare tactics.

He clarified that terrorists do not represent any religion, nation, or sect, and highlighted that national unity is essential for effectively combating terrorism.

The Army Chief regarded development initiatives in Balochistan as vital for national progress. He also underlined the need for institutional harmony and a coordinated national strategy.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace while affirming that the country is prepared to respond forcefully to any threat.

ISPR reported that the session ended with a question-and-answer segment between the Army Chief and the participants, during which he provided detailed responses to their inquiries.
