Sindh Govt Announces Prizes for Best Independence Day Decorations

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a reward for the best decoration of a vehicle, shop, or building on Independence Day.

The Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that on August 5, there will be an event against changing the special status of Kashmir, while a big event will also be held for special people. We want more people to participate in the concerts in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur.

He said that Karachi will be at the forefront of Independence Day celebrations. There will be a poetry reading on Independence Day, a rickshaw rally is also planned, and a human flag will also be made. All citizens are invited to participate.

Murad Ali Shah said that he will try to organize vintage car and heavy bike rallies; there will be women’s festivals and painting competitions; he has also directed the Culture Department to organize singing competitions; there is a Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai festival from August 9 to 11; and the color of Independence Day will also be seen in this.

The Sindh Chief Minister further said that the IG and DIG Traffic have been instructed to prepare a traffic plan; the public should also cooperate; these will be rallies for the sake of Pakistan; please forgive the slight inconvenience.

He said that he invites all political parties to participate in the Independence Day celebrations. Formal invitations will also be sent to political parties, while schools will remain open as usual during the celebrations. The Education Department is organizing its programs.
