Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur launched the ‘Knowledge Packet Program.’
Ali Amin Khan Gandapur said that the mission of our government is to provide quality education to children, and 21 percent of the budget has been allocated for primary and secondary education.
He said that last year, 1.3 million out-of-school children were enrolled in schools, and a target has been set to enroll another 1 million children in schools this year.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further said that they are launching a project to provide free books, stationery, and bags to children in government schools.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump on Thursday for his leadership in concluding a “historic” trade agreement between Pakistan and the United States.
In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, PM Shehbaz wrote:
“I wish to convey my profound thanks to President Trump for his leadership role in finalization of the historic US-Pakistan trade agreement, successfully concluded by our two sides in Washington, last night.”
He added that the agreement marked a “landmark” moment in US-Pakistan relations, saying it would strengthen the growing cooperation and expand the long-term partnership between the two nations.
