More PTI Members Sentenced in May 9 Case

A special anti-terrorism court in Sargodha has declared 51 suspects, including Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Ahmed Khan Bhachar, as proclaimed offenders in the May 9 violence case.

The court announced its decision during the hearing of the case related to the attack on the Judicial Complex in Mianwali. Those declared offenders also include Bilal Ijaz Ahmed Chattha.

The court has directed the police to arrest all 51 individuals and present them in court within one month.

Meanwhile, in the same case, the court has sentenced an arrested suspect, Muhammad Ismail, to life imprisonment.

According to records, “FIR No. 349 was registered at City Police Station, Mianwali” against the suspects. “Umar Ayub has already been declared a proclaimed offender in this case.”
