Senior Advocate Shot Dead by Unknown Assailants

In a tragic incident, Senior Advocate Khawaja Shamsul Islam was shot dead by unidentified attackers in the DHA area of Karachi.

According to police sources, “Khawaja Shamsul Islam had just stepped out of the mosque in Khayaban-e-Rahat after offering prayers when he was ambushed by unknown armed men who opened fire on him.”

As a result of the firing, Khawaja Shamsul Islam, his son, and another individual were seriously injured. All three were rushed to a private hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, “Khawaja Shamsul Islam succumbed to his injuries after being shot three times.”

Police officials revealed that this was not the first attack on the senior lawyer. “Shamsul Islam was also attacked last year, in which he sustained a bullet wound to his shoulder.”

Authorities have launched an investigation, and efforts are underway to identify and arrest those responsible. The incident has sparked concern among the legal fraternity and citizens alike, raising serious questions about security and targeted violence.
