Iranian President reaches Islamabad After Concluding Lahore Visit

Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Islamabad after completing the Lahore leg of his two-day official visit to Pakistan.

During his stay in Lahore, President Pezeshkian paid tribute at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal and held important meetings with provincial leadership, highlighting the historic and cultural ties between Iran and Pakistan.

Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar warmly received the esteemed guest at the airport. A group of children also welcomed the Iranian president by presenting him with beautiful flower bouquets.

As a mark of respect, President Pezeshkian was given a 21-gun salute. The visit includes high-level meetings between the leadership of both countries to strengthen cooperation and deepen diplomatic ties.

A top-level Iranian delegation also accompanied the president, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, senior ministers, and other high-ranking officials.

In Islamabad, he is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and other key officials. Discussions are expected to focus on bilateral trade, regional security, energy cooperation, and cultural exchange.

This visit marks a new chapter in Pakistan-Iran relations, aiming to boost mutual understanding and collaboration.
