Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the collection of Hajj dues will begin on Monday, August 4. Applicants can submit their Hajj applications through designated banks or the online portal.
According to the spokesperson, dues for already registered applicants will be collected from August 4 to August 9 on a first-come, first-served basis.
If seats remain available, new applicants will be allowed to apply from August 11 to 16. Once all seats are filled, the collection of dues will be stopped.
The 2026 Hajj package will cost between 1.15 to 1.25 million rupees. The package includes the Hajj animal sacrifice (Dam-e-Shukr).
The second installment of the dues will be collected from November 1.
The age limit restriction and bar on repeat Hajj have been lifted. However, children born after March 1, 2014, are not eligible to apply.
