Bannu Checkpoint Terrorist Attack
In Bannu, police foiled a terrorist attack on the Fateh Khel checkpoint.
According to the police, the terrorists attacked the Fateh Khel checkpoint with heavy weapons, after which an exchange of fire took place between the police and the terrorists.
According to RPO Bannu Sajjad Khan, 3 terrorists were killed and several others were injured due to timely police response.
Sajjad Khan confirmed that a constable was martyred in an exchange of fire with the terrorists.
He said that terrorists attacked the checkpoint late at night with small and heavy weapons, and a police search operation is underway in the area.
