FM Ishaq Dar Calls for Implementation of UN Resolutions on Kashmir’s Right to Self-Determination
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Kashmiris should be given their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
According to details, Ishaq Dar issued a message on the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal (Kashmir Explotation Day) stating that India has deprived Kashmiris of their right to self-determination for 78 years.
He said that after August 5, 2019, India has tried to suppress the voice of Kashmiris through oppression and tyranny, but despite the atrocities, the Kashmiri people remain resolute in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
He emphasized that Kashmiris should be given their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions, and the human rights situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir should be improved.
Ishaq Dar further said that, God willing, Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic, and moral support for Kashmir, and may Allah grant the Kashmiri brothers their legitimate rights.
