DG ISPR Denies Rumors of Field Marshal Becoming President, Vows Strong Response to Indian Aggression

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, DG ISPR has given a clear stance on the buzz around Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir becoming President after the “Battle of Truth.”

In an Exclusive Interview with The Economist, DG ISPR dismissed the rumors about Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir becoming the President of Pakistan, calling them false. He stated, “The rumor about Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir becoming the President of Pakistan is completely baseless.” He rejected the political analyses emerging after the “Battle of Truth.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed a commitment to respond to terrorist attacks with military action, according to The Economist. 

When asked how Pakistan would respond to Indian military action, The Economist reported the following reply, “This time, we will start from the East of India,” said the DG ISPR.

The DG ISPR further stated that it would begin with deep strikes inside India. “India needs to understand that they can be hit anywhere,” said the DG ISPR.
