Altaf Hussain Hospitalised Again in London

MQM Founder Altaf Hussain Multiple Tests
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain has once again been taken to a hospital in London after his health suddenly deteriorated. Party officials confirmed the news on Friday.
In a statement shared on MQM’s official X account (formerly Twitter), the party said that Hussain’s condition worsened in the morning. An emergency medical team rushed to his home. The team provided first aid and then shifted him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The MQM Central Information Department reported that Hussain is now under medical observation. Doctors are carrying out tests to assess his health condition.
Senior MQM leader Mustafa Azizabadi, who is based in London, also confirmed the development through a social media post. He asked party supporters to remain calm and wait for updates. The MQM Coordination Committee has appealed to its members and the public to pray for Hussain’s quick recovery.
This is the second time in recent weeks that the exiled leader has been hospitalised. Just last month, he was admitted due to what the party called a “severe illness.” At that time, he underwent multiple medical tests before being discharged.
