India’s Operation Sandor Claims ‘Laughable’: Khawaja Asif

Laughable Operation Sandor
ISLAMABAD – Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly rejected the Indian Air Chief’s statement regarding the alleged destruction of Pakistani aircraft during “Operation Sandor,” calling the claims “illogical and laughable.”
Asif noted that India took three months to make this “imaginary claim,” which he said was absurd in itself. In contrast, Pakistan provided a detailed technical briefing to the international media immediately after its successful “Operation Banyan Mursous.”
The minister said Pakistan downed six Indian fighter jets, including Rafales, during the operation. He added that Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system, drones, and disabled multiple Indian airbases.
According to Asif, Indian forces also suffered heavy personnel and material losses along the Line of Control (LoC). He reaffirmed that Pakistan will respond swiftly and effectively to any violation of its sovereignty.
