Pakistan Endorses US Declaration of Majeed Brigade, BLA as Terrorist Organizations

Pakistan has endorsed the United States’ decision to designate the Majeed Brigade and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) as terrorist organizations.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan had already declared Majeed Brigade and BLA as terrorists on 18 July 2024. The spokesperson highlighted that these groups were responsible for multiple terrorist incidents, including the Jaffar Express train attack and the Khuzdar bus bombing, which claimed numerous lives.

“The BLA and Majeed Brigade are involved in terrorist activities,” the spokesperson emphasized, adding that Pakistan has made countless sacrifices to ensure the safety of the region and the wider world.

Reaffirming the country’s commitment to national security, the Foreign Office stated that Pakistan remains determined to protect its cities and eliminate terrorism.

“Terrorism is a shared challenge, and Pakistan will continue to cooperate with the international community to combat it,” the spokesperson concluded.
