Former GTV Political Reporter Khawar Hussain Found Dead in Car

The body of journalist Khawar Hussain, who belonged to Karachi, is found in a car on Hyderabad Road in Sanghar.

In his statement, SSP Abid Baloch said that there is no conclusive evidence that Khawar Hussain has committed suicide. He added that nothing can be said about it at this stage and the cause of death will only be determined after the post-mortem report is received.

It is worth mentioning that earlier SSP Abid Baloch had said that Khawar Hussain had allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself. The deceased was associated with a private news channel in Karachi, though his ancestral home is in Sanghar.

Meanwhile, according to the spokesperson for the Sindh Chief Minister, the CM has taken notice of the unnatural death of journalist Khawar Hussain.

The spokesperson stated that the Chief Minister has sought a report from the Inspector General of Police. The CM has directed that the investigation be assigned to a senior police officer and that the true cause of death be determined through thorough investigation.

Political leaders and various journalist organizations have strongly condemned the incident and demanded a high-level transparent investigation by the police.
