PM Approves Key Appointments in Public, Private Sectors

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) has approved several important appointments in various public and private sector organizations.

Commodore (retd) Muhammad Jawad Akhtar has been appointed as Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs for a period of three years under the MP-1 scale, according to a notification.

In addition, five appointments have been approved in the Ministry of Commerce. The appointees from the public sector include Umar Dad Afridi, Javed Iqbal Khan, and Muhammad Hamood-ur-Rauf, while the private sector representatives are Muhammad Rauf Khan and Riffat Inam Butt.

The notification further stated that all appointments in the Ministry of Commerce have also been made under the MP-1 scale for a period of three years.
