Educational Institutions To Remain Closed Until Aug 25

The Education Department has announced the closure of all educational institutions across Gilgit-Baltistan until August 25, following the worsening flood situation in the region.

The decision comes amid concerns over potential dangers from an artificial lake in Ghizer, which poses a risk of bursting.

Authorities have also advised residents living along the coastal belt to relocate to safer areas as a precautionary measure.
