Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Embarks on First Official Visit to Bangladesh in 13 Years
Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has left for a two-day official visit to Bangladesh.
The trip, being undertaken at the invitation of the Bangladeshi government, will see him engage in key meetings with Bangladesh’s leadership in Dhaka.
During the visit, Ishaq Dar is scheduled to meet Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus as well as the Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Touhid Hossain.
The Foreign Office, in a statement, highlighted that this marks the first visit to Bangladesh by a Pakistani foreign minister in 13 years.

Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral ties, along with regional and international matters of mutual interest.
