Forces Eliminate 47 Terrorists Attempting Border Crossing in Balochistan

Security Forces Kill 35 Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Quetta: Between 7–9 August, Pakistani security forces foiled a major terrorist infiltration attempt in the Sambaza area of Balochistan, eliminating 47 militants linked to the outlawed group, security sources confirmed.
According to details, most of the killed terrorists were Afghan nationals who were trying to cross the border into Pakistan. During the clash, several bodies of slain militants fell across the Afghan side of the border.
Even 15 days after the operation, Afghan authorities did not retrieve the bodies, leaving them exposed under the open sky. Security sources said the decomposed bodies remained on Afghan soil, where scavenger animals fed on them.
Finally, on 25 August, following a border jirga with Afghan officials, the bodies of the terrorists were collected and transported on donkeys for burial.
Security officials termed the successful elimination of this large militant group before they could carry out any terrorist activity as a major intelligence and operational success for Pakistan’s security forces.
