I Prevented Nuclear Conflict Between Pakistan, India: Trump
Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again claimed credit for preventing a war between Pakistan and India, which he said was on the brink of turning into a nuclear conflict.
According to foreign media reports, Trump told journalists that during the Pakistan-India tensions, seven fighter jets had already been shot down, and the conflict was escalating dangerously.
“I settled seven wars, but the biggest was stopping the Pakistan-India war,” Trump said. “To halt the fighting, we used tariffs and trade pressure. I made it clear: if you keep fighting, the US will not trade with you.”
He further criticized the global practice of burning the American flag, calling it a misuse of freedom of expression. “This must stop,” he stressed.
Speaking about Iran, Trump said that during US military operations, every missile hit its target and that his administration successfully prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
