BIG Diplomatic Success for Pakistan – SCO Condemns Jaffer Express Terrorists Attack, Khuzdar Attack

Tianjin:  Pakistan achieved a major diplomatic victory at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Tianjin, as member states collectively condemned terrorist attacks on Pakistani soil, including the Jaffer Express attack on 11 March 2025 and the Khuzdar attack on 21 May 2025.

In the Tianjin Declaration Document, the member states condemned terrorist attacks on the Jaffer Express and in Khuzdar in 2025, emphasizing that perpetrators must be brought to justice. They reiterated opposition to using terrorist or extremist groups for mercenary purposes and recognized the leading role of sovereign states in counterterrorism.

The Member States strongly condemned all forms of terrorism, reject double standards, and urge the international community to combat terrorism—including cross-border movements—through the UN, fully implementing relevant Security Council resolutions and the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. They emphasize the need for a consensus-based Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.
