Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Visits Flood-Hit Areas of Jhang
JHANG – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the flood-affected areas of Jhang to review rescue and relief operations.
During the visit, officials briefed the Chief Minister on the ongoing efforts. She was informed that drone technology had been used to locate flood victims and assist in their rescue.
Rescue teams also reported that several people were safely evacuated with the help of drones.
Locals raised slogans in favor of Maryam Nawaz, praising the timely relief activities.
Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister said that the protection of people’s lives and property must remain the top priority.
