Punjab Govt Makes Free Online Textbooks Available for All Classes

The Punjab government has made school textbooks freely available online, giving students, teachers, and parents access to digital learning resources from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The initiative, launched by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB), allows learners to download required material in PDF format at no cost.

The online collection covers both Urdu and English mediums. Through the official PCTB portal (https://pctb.punjab.gov.pk/E-Books), users can choose their class and medium to download individual subject books. The repository includes core subjects such as Urdu, English, Mathematics, General Science, Islamiat, Social Studies, and Computer Science.

In addition to the official portal, interactive platforms like eLearn Punjab provide enhanced Science and Math textbooks with videos, animations, and simulations to improve student engagement. Other platforms such as Ustad360 and Taleem360 also host Punjab textbooks, enabling quick browsing by subject and grade.

Officials emphasized that the textbooks are meant solely for educational and personal use. Students and teachers are advised to use the official portal to ensure access to the latest and most authentic versions.
