Sindh Announces Public Holidays on Eid Milad un Nabi ﷺ

KARACHI – The Sindh government has announced two public holidays across the province on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi ﷺ.

According to the official notification, all government offices, schools, colleges, and universities in Sindh will remain closed on September 5 and 6, 2025.

The provincial government said the holidays have been declared to allow citizens to observe and participate in religious gatherings, processions, and events marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Both public and private institutions across Sindh will observe the two-day holiday.
