Who is Zia ur Rehman? Pirwadhai Police Arrest Tuition Academy Principal for R*ping Student

Pirwadhai police have arrested Zia ur Rehman, the principal of a private tuition academy, after a shocking case of sexual assault came to light. According to the First Information Report (FIR), he allegedly raped a female matric student several times while deceiving her with false promises of marriage.

The Victim’s Allegations

The girl, said to be in her early 20s, told police that she got admission to Asad Academy in Khayaban-e-Sir Syed in 2023 to complete her matriculation studies. She continued her classes until May 2025 under the supervision of Zia ur Rehman.

The FIR states that Zia ur Rehman, who had no children, started proposing marriage to her. When she asked him to contact her parents, he instead began getting physically close to her on different pretexts.

The victim revealed that on May 21, after finishing a test in the morning, she was called back to the academy at 1pm. With all other students gone, Zia locked his office doors and forcibly raped her, threatening to kill her if she spoke out.

Pregnancy and Miscarriage Allegations

The girl said her health began to deteriorate, and after visiting a private hospital, she later discovered she was pregnant. According to her statement, Zia ur Rehman forced her to take medicines that led to a miscarriage.

She added that on July 14, he raped her again, continuing to exploit her while promising marriage. The victim said she once again became pregnant, but Zia administered more medicines that caused another miscarriage.

Throughout this period, she claimed she suffered both physical and mental torture but stayed silent to protect her family’s reputation.

Police Action

Following her complaint, police in Pirwadhai registered a criminal case against Zia ur Rehman and took him into custody. Investigations are underway, and further details are expected as the case progresses.
