19 School Principals Suspended Over Poor Matric Exam Results

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Workers Welfare Board has taken strict action against underperformance in matriculation examinations by suspending 15 male and 4 female principals of various schools. An official notification confirming the suspensions has already been issued.

According to the notification, the suspended principals include those from Working Folks Grammar Schools in Akora Khattak, Aman Garh, Ghoriwala, Haripur-II, Hattar, Karak, Kohat-I, Kohat-II, and Peshawar-II.

The action also extends to principals from Samardan, Shahbaz Azmat Khel, Swabi, Swat, and Tath Bhai, where results were also deemed unsatisfactory.

The statement clarified that the responsibilities of the suspended principals have been temporarily assigned to vice principals and senior teachers to ensure smooth functioning of the schools.

This move highlights the provincial education department’s determination to hold school leadership accountable for student performance and to improve academic outcomes across the region.
