Bilawal Bhutto Visits Flood-Hit Areas, Urges Government Support

Multan – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that devastating floods are causing destruction across the country, leaving thousands of people in urgent need of relief.

Speaking to the media in Multan, Bilawal Bhutto said he visited several flood-affected areas in Punjab and witnessed the suffering of families firsthand. He assured victims that the PPP stands with them in this difficult time.

He urged both the federal and provincial governments to take immediate steps to compensate those who lost their homes, crops, and livelihoods. Bilawal also suggested using the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to ensure transparent and quick assistance for affected families.

“PPP leadership has always raised its voice for the rights of poor people, and we will continue to do so,” Bilawal said.

The chairman stressed that unity and timely action are essential to help citizens recover from the widespread damage caused by the floods.
