Hadiqa Kiani Appeals for Urgent Aid in Flood-Hit Kasur

Kasur: Renowned singer and humanitarian Hadiqa Kiani has launched an urgent appeal for relief assistance after visiting flood-affected areas of Kasur, Punjab.

In a video message shared on Instagram, Kiani urged the public to donate food, clothing, bedding, and medicines to support families devastated by recent floods.

With winter approaching, she stressed the need for blankets and warm jackets to protect displaced families from harsh weather conditions.

The singer also called on doctors and healthcare workers to volunteer at medical camps, warning that malaria and other diseases are spreading quickly in flood-hit regions.

Highlighting the struggle of rural families, Kiani noted that livestock has been badly affected — with many animals perished or in urgent need of food, medicines, and veterinary care.

Kiani, known for her long-standing humanitarian work, said collective action is essential to save lives — both human and animal — in flood-ravaged areas.
