Amazon Announces Prime Big Deal Days on October 7–8 With Major Discounts

Amazon has officially confirmed that its Prime Big Deal Days event will take place on October 7 and 8, beginning at 12:01 a.m. PT (3:01 a.m. ET) and running through both days.

Prime members can look forward to exclusive discounts on popular brands and products including Apple, Samsung, Beats, iPads, and AirPods. Beginning today, Amazon is already offering up to 50% off select devices such as the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro Tablet, Kindle Kids, and Echo Dot Kids bundle. Other deals include discounts on the Luna Wireless Controller, the Ring Battery Doorbell with Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera bundle, and the Kindle Paperwhite Essentials bundle.

Additionally, eligible Prime members can claim a three-month free subscription to Kindle Unlimited. For the first time, the Prime Big Deal Days event will also be held in Colombia, Ireland, and Mexico, alongside major markets such as the US, UK, and Australia.

A Prime membership is priced at $14.99 per month or $139 annually, while members aged 18 to 24 can access a six-month free trial, after which the plan renews at $7.49 per month.

Ahead of the sales event, Amazon will also host a fall hardware showcase on September 30, where it is expected to unveil new devices like Kindles, Fire TV products, and Echo smart speakers. These could be included in the discount lineup during the October event.
