NICOP fees for Pakistanis in South Africa - September 2025
The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) is the official body that issues the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP). This card is meant for Pakistanis who live abroad or plan to move overseas for work or employment.
Benefits of NICOP
Holders of NICOP enjoy several important benefits:
They can enter Pakistan on a foreign passport without needing a visa.
They are recognized as Pakistani citizens, which means they can buy and sell property in Pakistan.
They can open a bank account and also apply for a Pakistani passport.
NICOP holders also have voting rights when in Pakistan.
Where to Apply
If you are in Pakistan, you can visit any NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
If you are abroad, you can apply through the Pakistani embassy in your country.
NADRA has also launched the Pak-Identity app, which allows overseas Pakistanis to apply for NICOP online.
NICOP Fee for South Africa (in Rupees)
South Africa is listed under Zone B countries. The NICOP fee is as follows:
Normal category: Rs 5,500
Urgent category: Rs 8,300
Executive category: Rs 11,000

Urgent category: $30
Executive category: $40
