Sindh government announced holiday on September 24

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on September 24 in connection with the upcoming local government by-elections. The holiday will be observed in 14 districts of the province.

According to details, the holiday will apply in the following districts:

• Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Matiari

• Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Badin, Thatta

• Karachi West, Karachi East, and Keamari

The notification has been issued to facilitate voters during the elections. On this day, all government offices and institutions in these districts will remain closed.
