4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Swat and Surrounding Areas
A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck Swat and nearby areas, causing panic among residents.
The Seismic Center confirmed that the tremors were recorded at a depth of 152 kilometers, with the epicenter located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
Following the shocks, people rushed out of their homes and offices in fear, reciting Kalma Tayyaba.
Authorities reported that no casualties or property damage have been recorded so far.
It is worth mentioning that tremors often create fear in both mountainous and plain regions of the country, particularly in Swat, while the devastating 2005 earthquake remains a tragic memory for Pakistan.
