SNGPL starts applications for new gas connections – Check fast track fee

The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has begun receiving applications for new domestic gas connections. These connections will only be provided under the Re-Gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) tariff.

Priority for Old Applicants

According to SNGPL’s website, priority will be given to people who had already paid the urgent fee or demand notice before the previous ban. Such applicants can get an RLNG connection by:

• Giving their consent

• Signing an RLNG contract

• Paying the remaining security difference

Those who had applied earlier for a system gas connection can now also choose to submit a new RLNG application, either on the normal track or fast track.

Fees and Charges

• Fast Track Fee: Rs. 25,000 (urgent fee)

• Security (Refundable): Rs. 20,000

• Service Line Cost: Rs. 1,500 for houses up to 10 Marla, Rs. 3,000 for houses above 10 Marla
  👉 There is no fee for submitting an application.

RLNG Connection Framework

• SNGPL and SSGC can provide RLNG connections to up to 50% of applicants each year.

• Applicants who pay the urgent fee will get their connection within three months.

• RLNG connections, however, will be 70% more expensive compared to the normal domestic gas tariff.
