Joint Security Operation Kills 17 Indian-Sponsored Militants, Injures 10
On the night of September 26-27, 2025, Pakistani security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district targeting a group of militants belonging to the Indian-sponsored extremist group, Fitna al Khwarij.
During the operation, security forces successfully engaged the militants in Darsha Khel, located on the border of Lakki Marwat and Karak districts. Seventeen Indian-sponsored militants were killed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.
These militants were involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians.
Security officials said that a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored militants in the area. The Pakistani security forces are fully committed to wiping out the threat of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
This operation reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to maintain peace and security in the region and to protect citizens from extremist violence.
